Project Summary
My research looks at Congenital Syphilis prevention in three multicultural sites of study in western Colombia (Quibdó, Manizales and Riosucio) through online methodologies such as document analysis, interviews, asynchronous focus groups and diaries. The research intends to contribute to how to provide good care in a prenatal care setting while acknowledging more than ‘expert’ and ‘scientific’ ontologies.

Wider Research Interests
My research interests revolve around disease prevention, STS, public understanding of Science and Technology, community participation, applied research, and Anthropology and Sociology of Health.
