Having graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity from King’s College London in 1992, I then trained for the Anglican priesthood and worked as parish priest in Catford and Peckham (Southeast London) for fifteen years. During that time I went back to King’s and did an MA in Biblical Studies (2008). My dissertation focused on assessing the anti-imperial nature of Paul’s letter to the Romans using Revelation as a base-line.
I currently work as a Community Cohesion Officer for the London Borough of Camden and am the Honorary Assistant Priest at St. Hilda’s Crofton Park.
My main research interests are:
- the Pauline epistles and the formation of Christian identity
- religious exclusivity in the New Testament texts
- the use of the Bible in developing Christian religious beliefs.
