I am studying a John Oldacre PhD studentship exploring the barriers hindering alternative horticultural uses for current pasture land.

I have a background in horticulture and trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, where I developed a passion for food growing and particularly perennial food crops. Prior to this I worked in Local Government policy looking at, amongst other issues, creating sustainable communities. My undergraduate degree was in History and my Masters degree in History and Politics, both at the University of Nottingham.
