Professional/research experience

July 2011 - April 2012:

• English Editor for the Italian Development Cooperation, Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem

Editing the English version of articles for the website and bi-monthly magazines about activities carried out by Italian NGOs in the Palestinian Territories.

May 2011 - August 2011:

• Internship at the Communication Office, Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem

Writing reports and research pieces, updating the consulate website, updating news about the Italian Foreign policy in the Middle East, representing the Consulate at events with international organisations (UNHCR, UNDP, etc.); upgraded as a part-time employee at the end of the internship.

January 2011 - April 2011:

• Internship at Victim Support, Witness Support section, London, UK

Training session of 2 weeks on trial’s course and possible outcomes; and on helping the witness with practical/technical information and emotional support; Developed comprehensive interpersonal and attitudinal skills through dealing with witnesses in problematic situations.
