During the Open Days at the Zoological Garden in Leipzig, Germany, I presented mile-stone discoveries and current research projects that were carried out at the zoo's great ape research centre. The activities were mainly aimed at children to give them the opportunity to explore the cognitive abilities of great apes in an interactive way, e.g. by trying out some of the experiments themselves.
