Chris Davies

My ultimate aim is to work in Film or Television, preferably producing historical films or series. Within this, I would like to work as a script writer or historical advisor/researcher, with the aim of developing to a directorial position.

I am also very interested in film criticism, and have experimented with documentary/magazine filmmaking as a writer/presenter/producer on Exeter University's student TV station's film show, Cameo. This is something I would like to pursue as a career, and below are links to some of my work:

My aim in obtaining a doctorate in Film Studies (including teaching experience) is to pursue employment in a university as a lecturer and tutor. I would very much like to create an interdisciplinary module which combines Classics & Ancient History with Film. If possible, I would like to gain teaching experience in America.
