Project Summary

Advanced geoscience modelling of South West England using Tellus high resolution multivariate data

Collaborative project between Camborne School of Mines and the British Geological Survey.

Key aspects of the research include:
-- Collating and interpreting a multifaceted dataset including, geological, geophysical, geochemical and multispectral data to enhance the baseline geological understanding of SW England.
-- Automated lithostratigraphical mapping from radiometric, geochemical, multispectral and LiDAR data in a well vegetated environment
-- Develop novel spatial analysis tools by integrating multi-resolution data of various data types to aid pattern recognition
-- Developing a regional scale mineral prospectivity model for SW England
