I took my BA in Theological Studies and MA in Theology (awarded Distinction) at the University of Exeter.  During my MA, I predominantly took modules on the Hebrew Bible.  After working for a year as a Chaplaincy Assistant at University College Plymouth St Mark and St John, I received AHRC funding to study for a PhD under the supervision of Professor Francesca Stavrakopoulou, in the Department of Theology and Religion at the University of Exeter.  The working title for my PhD is 'The "Divine" Confused and Abused: Cultural Memories of Royal Ritual Netherworld Descent and Heavenly Ascent in the Hebrew Bible' (further information is given on my "Research" page).
