Early Modernist at the University of Exeter. I am working on and interested in John Milton, Andrew Marvell, John Dryden, and other writers of the seventeenth century. Completed a Ph.D. on Milton, Marvell and Anglo-Dutch Relations. Fervent believer in a transnational approach in literature, demonstrated in my recent work on the influence of Anglo-Dutch relations in canonical literature of the Netherlands and Britain. In this context, I look at drama, poetry and prose of the period. See my recent article in The Milton Quarterly: ‘Creation in Milton’s Paradise Lost and Vondel’s Adam in Ballingschap (1660)’ 51.2 (May, 2017). At the moment, I am completing my monograph for publication with Routledge, entitled Milton, Marvell, and the Dutch Republic. I am always delighted to discuss these issue, so please get in touch.
