I am a final year PhD student working on the All-India Progressive Writers' Association in the College of Humanities, based in the Department of English and Film. I completed by BA in English at the University of Exeter in 2018 and took a break from the humanities to study international development at the LSE, where I focused on humanitarian emergencies and grassroots organising initiatives in war-zones. This research led me back to Exeter, where I am now working on the Progressives and literary dissent in South Asia.

I grew up in Lahore, Pakistan, and moved to the UK for higher education in 2015.

I am also available on Academia.eduTwitter, and am a founding member of The Tasavvur Collective.
