My academic education began at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. In summer 2008 I graduated with a combined BSc MSc equivalent (Diplom) in Geoecology. As part of my course, I spent one year at the University of Iceland studying the Geography and Geology of Iceland. I have strong background water related subjects including Water Chemistry, River Basin Management and Waste Water Treatment accompanied by Phyto-Geography, Landscape Ecology and Soil Science. I have a professional experience in nitrogen recovery from sludge dewatering liquids at the Institute of Aquatic Environmental Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe as well as in the analysis of sedimentary charge and deposition for Federal Agency of Hydraulic Engineering, Germany. Moreover, I was core member River Basin Management team which as devolved a detailed hydrodynamic model for a tender on the renaturation of the River Isar, Munich.
