I am a PhD student in philosophy of science and part of Dr Sabina Leonelli's research project "The Epistemology of Data-Intensive Science", located at Egenis, the Centre for the Study of Life Sciences, at the University of Exeter.

My PhD project focuses on the epistemology of creating and using scientific data in ocean sciences.

After studying Physical Oceanography (BSc/MSc) at the University of Hamburg, I turned to History and Culture of Science and Technology (MA) at Technical University Berlin. During my time in Berlin, I was a student assistant at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in the working group "Historicizing Big Data".
