I am an English language teacher from Saudi Arabia. I have been a high school teacher for a number of years before coming to the UK. I am currently an EdD student in TESOL. With a solid background in EFL, I am interested in learning more about innovative TESOL projects worldwide. This would advance my career goals by adding to my skills, both critical and creative, in working with English language teaching.

I have a special interest in literature particularly African-American literature, and this led me to devote my MA study to this particular field. I am also interested in post colonial literature with special emphasis on  Arabic Anglophone novels and their role in fighting imperial hegemony either political or cultural.
