After graduating from the University of Exeter with a History BA Hons degree in 2005 I joined the Graduate School of Education - also at the University of Exeter - where I obtained my Postgraduate Certificate of Education specialising in History in 2006. Since then I have taught History in the South West and South East to students in both the comprehensive and grammar school systems across all year groups including GCSE and A-Level.

I am undertaking research for a PhD in History, under the supervision of Professor Richard Overy and Dr. David Thackeray. I conduct this research via Distance Learning and I currently work out of London.

My current project, The British Bombing Offensive: Media Representation and Public Perception, 1939-1945, which I began in January 2013, investigates the media's portrayal of RAF bombing operations during the Second World War and how the various forms of British society responded to the image they were shown. I am interested in public opinion formation and the methods of opinion measurement as part of this project.
