I read for a BSc (Hons) degree in International Relations at the University of Plymouth between 2008 and 2011 before completing a MSc in Global Politics at the University of Southampton in 2012. I started the MPhil/PhD in Ethno-Political Studies programme at Exeter in October 2012 and successfully defended my thesis in November 2015. My research explores ethno-symbolism in election campaigns in Northern Ireland under the supervision of Professor Jonathan Githens-Mazer (lead) and Professor Gareth Stansfield. I am Editor of Ethnopolitics Papers.
