I studied History at the University of York and graduated with a first-class honours degree. I then completed my MA in Medieval History, at the University of York. I wrote my dissertation on the late mediaeval chronicler Adam of Usk, and his interest in portents and prophecy, supervised by Dr Craig Taylor. I completed my Masters in 2014 with a distinction.
In 2015 I began my doctoral studies at the University of Exeter as a doctoral candidate funded by the AHRC through the South-West and Wales consortium, supervised by Professor James Clark (University of Exeter) and Professor Helen Fulton (University of Bristol).
I am the current editor of the postgraduate student journal Ex Historia.
I was on the 2016 PGR Conference Committee, and acted as the reviews editor for Ex Historia in 2016.
