Graduated with a Distinction after studying part-time over two years. My dissertation looked at films produced during the Japanese occupation of the Korean peninsula, exploring the ways in which the films engaged with their historical context. I also undertook modules on Third Cinema, Cinema and the City, Formations of Film Studies, East Asian Screen Cultures and Italian Cinema in the 1960s.

2005-2008:

University of Exeter

Graduated with A BA (Hons.) in European and World Cinemas, receiving a Dean's Commendation in my final year. My Dissertation looked at the representation of North Korean characters across a number of contemporary South Korean blockbusters.
