I assisted my PhD supervisor by designing and leading two seminar sessions for her undergraduate Heaven and Hell course. The topic was Martin Luther and two of his writings (95 Theses and the Babylonian Captivity of the Church), and I adapted my style and content for second and third year students, respectively.
During the autumn, 2013 term at Exeter, I served as a teaching assistant for my PhD supervisor for her first year undergraduate Patristic Theology course, which had nearly 50 students enrolled. I designed the seminar session on Augustine and the Trinity and led it three times. I also marked some of the formative essays, and offered four hours of essay assistance on a 'drop in' basis prior to the submission of the assessed essays. In addition, I attended all the weekly lectures and seminar sessions.
