Professional/research experience

January 2011 - June 2011:

Sentry Hill Historic House, Co. Antrim

Documentation Assistant - Documentation of the Sentry Hill accredited museum collection to MDA standards as set out in spectrum, onto the museum database (MODES). This involved researching the object and developing written and digital object history files, as well as preparing digital images of artefacts to add to the collection database.I was also involved in accessioning these items and correctly storing them.


December 2008 - January 2009:

British Museum, Department of Coins and Medals

Leslie Melville Intern - Cataloguing Anglo-Viking and Venetian coinage and assisting in research. I also assisted the duty-curator in the supervision of the study room. In addition, I recorded a radio interview for BBC Radio London, in which I talked about the museum’s Viking collection, aimed at a younger non-specialist audience.
