Katrina-Kay S. Alaimo

Discipline: Classics and Ancient History

Project Summary

My research focuses on how a selected amount of small finds (the animal remains, brooches, coins, and hairpins) can inform us about the different kinds of social practices occurring on temple sites in early south-eastern Roman Britain.

Wider Research Interests

I particularly enjoy reading about Roman religion in general, the early Roman empire (specifically the Julio-Claudian emperors) and studies on identity, and also linguistics, in both modern and ancient cultures. Throughout my entire academic and indeed even non-academic career, I've found that I love studying languages, dead and currently in use, Asian and European.
