Teaching/Training experience at Assiut University College of Education, Egypt

1-Training prospective teachers of English (student-teachers) during the Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) workshops in how to develop their general and academic teaching skills (e.g. training them in classroom management, how to teach the four main language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing, and how to teach vocabulary, grammar, literature.)

2-Applying the communicative method of TEFL and some cooperative learning strategies in micro-teaching sessions.

2-Training students in how to apply instructional technology in English Language Teaching.

3-Supervising and following up some groups of English majors (student teachers) in their teaching practice in Assiut City preparatory and/or secondary schools.

4-Assisting in teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) for kindergarten-section students, French-section students, science-section students and elementary-education-section students.

5-Helping students to design and make various teaching aids and instructional materials related to their majors.

6-Organizing, planning and following up the teaching practice work in some schools.

7-Training kindergarten-section students in planning and carrying out their kindergarten programmes.
