Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (LTHE)

I attended the day course (Stage One of the programme) on 10th January 2013 and completed Stage Two (six sessions) in March 2013.As a part of this programme I was observed and recorded delivering a micro-teaching session ('Introduction to Socrates) and a colleague observed me delivering a tutorial (J.S. Mill and Utilitarianism'). Having submitted a portfolio of reflective work in January 2014 and undertaken the presentation, I have been awarded accredited status with the UK Higher Education Academy as an Associate Fellow.

POLM037 Logics of Explanation

I audited the postgraduate module POLM037' Logics of Explanation' in Spring term 2012. The module is a sophisticated introduction to the major issues in competing logics of explanation in various approaches to politics and is run by Dr. Dario Castiglione. My attendance of the module included giving a presentation ('What is Ideology?').
