Melinda Szocs is a PhD researcher who joined the Business School in 2014 under an ESRC (3+1 funded) project. Her research interests include innovation in the public and third sector, social economy, co-operatives and strategic entrepreneurship. 

Recent publication includes: Dudau, A., Kominis, G., & Szocs, M. (2017). Innovation failure in the eye of the beholder: towards a theory of innovation shaped by competing agendas within higher education. Public Management Review, 1-19.
