Completed part time taught MA in Postcolonial Studies. Courses on Literature with Professor Donna Landry, Professor Abdulrazak Gurnah and Dr Alex Padamsee. Dissertation thesis title " 'The Funny side of everything': The value of humour in the work of Kiran Nagarkar".

Completed BA degree in Humanities with English literature (First Class Honours) by distance learning.

Professional/research experience

2015 - present:

The British Library

Researching the Ruth Prawer Jhabvala archive for the Collaborative Doctorate involved researching the Allen & Unwin archives at University of Reading, the John Murray archives at National Library of Scotland, the Booker Prize/Book Trust archives at Oxford Brookes and digital research at the Brotherton Library at University of Leeds. I catalogued the Jhabvala collection at the British Library and I am currently preparing the material for conservation and public access.

Working with academic researchers and professional, children's and YA's authors, businesses, public bodies, organisations and fiction authors. Includes contracts with AthenaCheck based in Amsterdam, transcriptions of archival materials for academic publications and conversions of transcribed recordings to memoirs for public representatives.
