In October 2011 I started my PhD in the school of law which is a comparative project looking at co-parenting arrangements following assisted reproduction in the UK and Canada. This is supervised by Professor Anne Barlow in the School of Law and Dr Janet Smithson in the School of Psychology. My research is funded by an ESRC 1+3 scholarship. Prior to commencing my PhD, I completed the MRes in Socio-Legal Studies at Exeter. Before coming to Exeter, I did an LLB and LLM (by research) at the University of Aberdeen. In addition to my PhD I am a graduate teaching assistant in the school of law on the core European Union Law module. I also teach on the Introduction to English Law and English Legal System; and Introduction to Tort Law courses at INTO. My research interests include family law, European Union law, legal theory and human rights. I welcome contact from other researchers in any of these areas.
