Greg graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2003 with a BSc in Sport, Coaching and Exercise Science. He then went on to complete an MSc in Sport Psychology at the same institution. After completing his MSc Greg spent brief periods teaching in secondary and further education before returning to study a PhD under the supervision of Dr Mark Wilson. He has a broad interest in all aspects of psychology and football performance. He is an avid supporter of Stoke City F.C and enjoys playing and coaching youth football.
