Sarayut Rueangsuwan is a doctoral researcher in Accountancy at the University of Exeter Business School. He holds a first class BBA honours degree in accounting and an MBA in finance and international business both from Thammasat University in Thailand. In addition, He was awarded an MRes in finance with merit from Cass Business School, City University London.
Prior to joining Exeter’s research programme, he spent his first year of a PhD programme at Cass Business School. Having completed academic requirements, he joined his leading supervisor moving to University of Exeter as a PhD candidate.
Sarayut gained professional accounting experience with Thailand's top three financial institutions and the PLAN Group where he last worked as a business development manager. He has also worked as an accounting lecturer at Kasetsart University. With research interests broadly focused on economic effects of consistency in meeting or beating earnings benchmarks, Sarayut is working under the supervision of Professor Gilad Livne and Professor Joanne Horton.
