Suzanne Steele

I wish to continue my work as both a creative and critical writer, and am very interested in the nexus of technology and narrative. I wish to continue lecturing, and writing for both the popular and academic press.

I would like to pursue a post-doctorate engaging in an interdisciplinary research study on the neuropsychological implications of poetry and Post Traumatic Stress. I am interested in replicating the innovative work of Dr. W.H.R. Rivers, whose work has been identified as proto-Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Dr. Rivers' patients from the Great War include Wilfred Owen, Siegfried Sassoon, and the Canadian poet Frank Prewitt.
