I'm an SSIS funded PhD researcher here at the CRPR where my research focuses on the rewilding of species, land and ecosystems. In particular I'm looking at how rewilding affects and is affected by other rural land use and how this is negotiated.

Prior to commencing my research I had a career in the veterinary industry so I have an active interest in animal management, health and welfare. This translates to a research interest in human-wildlife conflict which provided the genesis for my MSc research at Dublin City University where my dissertation examined media framings of badgers in relation to bovine tuberculosis. Coming from Herefordshire and now living in Devon I'm highly conscious of the debates surrounding farming and wildlife management and look forward to exploring this further.
