I am an AHRC-funded PhD student researching autism and gender in contemporary literature and culture. As a member of the South West and Wales Doctoral Training Partnership (SWW DTP2), my research is supervised across two institutions. Consequently, I am supervised by Dr. Jana Funke at the University of Exeter and by Dr. Maria Vaccarella and Dr. Andrew Blades at Bristol.

After attaining my BA (Hons) in English Literature at The Open University in 2017, I joined the English department at Bristol, and completed my MA in Modern and Contemporary Literature in 2019.

Research interests: literature and medicine, queer  studies, disability studies, critical neurodiversity studies
