Amira El-Soussi is an experienced teaching professional with expertise in teaching English to speakers of other languages. She brings with her 20 years of teaching experience both at schools and in higher education in the United Arab Emirates. She holds an M.Ed. with a focus on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language (TESOL), a post-graduate diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), and a BA in English Language. She is currently pursuing her EdD in TESOL at the University of Exeter, and she is so keen to conduct critical research aiming for more equitable, inclusive, and egalitarian education systems. throughout the past fifteen years, she has been an English instructor at the American University in Dubai and the American University of Sharjah, where she gained immense experience teaching all English skills, with emphasis on academic writing, to multicultural students with diverse backgrounds and linguistic proficiency. As a goal-focused education professional, she is passionate about providing quality education for the new generation and bringing positive change to the field of education.
