Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (LTHE) - Stage 1

LTHE 1 is a 1 day course which gives an introduction to a range of principles of teaching and learning. It is designed to develop the researchers understanding and skills for learning and teaching in Higher Education.

The course gives researchers the opportunity to explore the knowledge, understanding, skills and values needed to enable students to learn effectively in a modern Higher Education environment. Researchers ‘practise’ teaching in a short micro-teaching activity, and gain constructive feedback from peers.

The Exeter Award

The Exeter Award is an employability achievement award offered by the University of Exeter. Completing the award demonstrates effective understanding of key skills that enable graduates to thrive in the workplace. This includes practical skills such as presentation and public speaking courses, and soft-skills such as teamwork and management techniques.
