Graduate Teaching Assistant: Lectured on animal bone and worked bone artefacts in first year undergraduate course. Graded final student essays which focused on an analysis of a worked bone tool.
Teaching/Laboratory Assistant: Assisted students with identifying animal bones in laboratory portion of second-year undergraduate zooarchaeology course
Lead a seminar series for advanced English speakers at the Karaganda branch of American Corner, an English speaking American cultural centre. Topics focused on anthropology, sociology, and archaeology, which special emphasis on cross cultural understanding.
As a visiting practitioner and researcher conducted ongoing instruction in zooarchaeological practice with first and second year students on a nearly daily basis, culminating in a series of lectures on selected topics, such as animal domestication. Instruction given in English and simple Russian.
