Seminars in this module taught students the key skills necessary for them to complete their undergraduate degrees, including being able to critically assess academic texts, construct bibliographies, and present their work in essays and in oral presentations. In addition, students were assessed on the basis of group projects which asked them to critically assess historiography within my own areas of expertise. Therefore, in addition to teaching seminars, I was also responsible for setting questions for these projects, guiding and providing support to students in these projects, as well as marking their final group essays and presentations.
