Tutoring. To introduce core ideas, theoretical perspectives, methods of investigation and analysis that are distinctive of sociology and cognate social science disciplines. The central question to be pursued is: What kind of knowledge of social phenomena is it possible to attain, and can such knowledge be considered ‘scientific’ or ‘objective’? How have these issues been discussed by key social theorists?
I have many years of experience teaching music and ICT at the secondary school level in inner city schools in and around London.
