I was the sole full-time research associate for a research project that investigated the role of the arts in some of the Arab Spring nations (Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and Morocco) funded by the British Council. I conducted the initial literature review on art and social change, organised with the British Council dozens of interviews in the host countries, conducted qualitative research in the field, analysed the data using grounded theory as well as conflict theory, art history and social media analysis. Finally, a report was co-authored with the three other researchers and presented to the British Council. The British Council then reworked the report for their own purposes and published the results here: http://www.britishcouncil.org/sites/default/files/documents/Voices-of-the-people-v9_0.pdf
