I have run regular workshops, seminars and training days on the subject of learners / trainees with difficulties and learner support. I have run sessions for the following institutions:

  • The London NHS Workforce Deanery
  • The West Midlands NHS Workforce Deanery
  • The University of Birmingham
  • The Royal College of General Practitioners


I have also been involved in teaching undergraduate medical students for the following institutions (and subjects):

  • Clinical Hypnosis

During my last clinical job, I got the opportunity to teach students from Keele University:

I also run workshops on clinical teaching, introductions to medical education research and supporting learners with difficulties. About four years ago I used to be an Associate Lecturer at Sutton Coldfield College (now part of Birmingham Metropolitan College) where I taught A Level Biology to adult learners. I also supervised student teachers undertaking their DTLLS. I still give talks at this college at their careers events.
