I completed my undergraduate degree in Human Geography at the University of Southampton in 2010. Following graduation, I moved to Australia and worked for a cat shelter in Sydney. While there I developed a keen interest in human-animal relationships with a particular focus on our interactions with cats. On my return to the UK, I enrolled in the MA Anthrozoology programme at the University of Exeter and graduated in 2016 before commencing my PhD in Anthrozoology the same year.

My PhD research is a multispecies ethnography of pedigree cat breeding and showing practices within the United Kingdom.
