I am a second-year PhD student based in the English department at Exeter. Currently, I work in the medical humanities more generally; my interests include cultural studies, critical theory, historicisms, and representations of disability.
I completed my BA in English at Exeter in 2019, with a final project on the literary representations of coffee in Restoration England. I would then go on to complete my MA in English with Criticism and Theory at Exeter in 2020, later expanding my final thesis later into a successful research proposal for my PhD.
In 2021, I was awarded the College of Humanities Home Studentship for my current PhD project. Currently based between London and Exeter, I am supervised by Professor Laura Salisbury and Professor Jana Funke.
