Iris Felicitas Haltmeier, M.A

My name is Iris F Haltmeier and I am from Austria. I started my graduate studies at Exeter University in September 2012 and aim to graduate with a PhD in Management (specialization Tourism) in August 2015. My current research focus is on the quality of life, wellbeing, buildling of friendships and the concept of leisure as free time or activity in the context of Social Networking Sites, primarily Facebook. I am trying to investigate the effects of Facebook usage on the wellbeing respectively quality of life of adolescents, how Facebook affects their leisure participation general happiness.
