Korean Screen Cultures 2014

Presented a paper, 'In Search of Lost Memories: Hauntings and the Female Amnesiac', which examined contemporary South Korean horror films and discussed the idea of a 'Korean Gothic'.

1st June 2013:

Years of Radical Change II

Two day conference hosted by the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. I presented a paper called 'Once Upon a Time in Colonial Korea' which looked at Homi K. Bhabha's concepts of hybridity and colonial mimicry in the context of Colonial Korea.

30th May 2013:

Exeter College of Humanities PGR Conference

Presented an overview of some of my current research questions in a presentation called 'Once Upon a Time in Colonial Korea'.

Presented a paper, 'Arirang and the Healing of Han'.
