At the present, I am a PhD student at the University of Exeter with a Scholarship from "Fundación Bancaria la Caixa". I am working under the supervision of John Dupré (EGENIS) and José Díez (LOGOS - University of Barcelona), on the relationship between symbiosis and the general problems of philosophy of biology, especially the issue concerning units of selection.

Before joining EGENIS, I obtained my BA in Philosophy at the University of Oviedo, where I won the BA Extraordinary Prize. I obtained my MA in Analytic Philosophy at the University of Barcelona, also winning the MA Extraordinary Prize, where I was collaborating with the LOGOS Research Group, thanks to a PERSP Scholarship which I gained for the academic year 2014/15.
