I am a first year PhD student in Anthropology researching the changing role of the chef profession, the rise of celebrity chef culture, and the activism they are undertaking. My research will explore how chefs have rebranded themselves and the profession into activists of ethical and sustainable food habits.

Prior to starting my PhD I earned a BA and MA in Fine Art both at Norwich University of the Arts. Alongside my studies I trained to be a chef and have worked in award-winning fine dining restaurants across Norfolk.
