Pre and post registration Nurse Education

I have been in nurse education since 2002 delivering a range of pre and post registration nursing course.

I entered Higher Education to design education programmes to develop the skills and competence to enable nurses to care for acutely ill/injured children. This was successfully delivered to a range of health care professionals to enhance their knowledge, skill and competence in caring for the acutely ill child.

In 2007 I took on the role of programme leader for pre-registration nurse education, designing and monitoring the quality of nurse education programmes to facilitate competent, caring nurses. As Principal Lecturer in two London Universities, I led a team in the delivery of a range of health-related subjects.

In 2015 I was promoted to the role of Associate Professor, Practice Learning. I teach a range of subjects across pre and post registration nurse education programmes and lead on the design of nurse education.
