Discipline: Theology and Religion
Project Summary
My PhD project is focused on trauma theology. I am particularly concerned with the exploration of somatic memory and the location of somatic memory in the Christian experience. Drawing together theology of the body and the psychoanalytical perspectives on trauma and memory, I am seeking to re-read theological doctrines in the light of the traumatic experience.
