Karen Scott-Boyd

As a mature age doctoral student, my approach is that of someone wanting to consolidate the variety of roles throughout my working life with my portfolio of qualifications. More importantly, I would like to make a contribution to the field of education and particularly to teachers. I am interested in the rights of teachers, both human and employee rights. In a broader context, I am interested in the intersection of teacher (employee), student (client) and employer rights. The integration of my qualifications in communications, cultural studies, restorative justice and education culminates in my interest in advocacy through education.
