I am a Trainee Educational Psychologist on the DEdPsych course. Previously, I have been a primary school teacher, a teacher of children with profound and multiple learning difficulties, and supported young people with Education, Health, and Care Plans in a post-16 setting. My academic interests include the impact of domestic abuse and coercive control on children's development, boys' mental health, empowering families from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and animal-assisted therapy in schools.

I am currently completing my doctoral research on school attendance difficulties in secondary school aged children.
