Leanne Fuller is a recipient of a “1+3” ESRC PhD studentship and is pursuing part-time a PhD entitled "Growing Double and Deutero-loop learners: An analysis of the British Army's efforts to inculcate a learning culture amongst junior officers", under the co-supervision of Dr. Sergio Catignani and Professor Andrew Massey.  This research forms part of a collaborative project between the University of Exeter's Strategy and Security Institute and the Army's Centre for Historical Analysis and Conflict Resolution. Leanne has been an Army Officer for the past 14 years and is currently serving in the Educational and Training Services branch of the Adjutant General's Corps.  During her time in the Army she has been on operations in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan.  She plans to leave the Regular Army in two years in order to take on the PhD full time, although she intends to remain serving as a Reserve Officer.

Leanne holds a BSc in Politics and Sociology from the University of Bristol, an MA in Intelligence and International Relations from the University of Staffordshire, a PG Dip in Strategic Leadership and Management from CMI/Stratford Business School, a PGCE (PCET) and an MSc in Educational Practice and Innovation from the University of Southampton.
