I am a PhD student in Strategy and Security at the Strategy and Security Institute (SSI). My research focuses on RPV warfare and investigates whether and how the practice and success of deterrence are tested by remotely piloted aircraft. The current title of my thesis is “Deterrence and remotely piloted aircraft (RPVs): Do remotely piloted aircraft make deterrence less stable? Do they complicate its practice for both state and non-state players?”.

Before joining the SSI, I completed a BA and an MA in International and Diplomatic Sciences at University of Bologna – “Roberto Ruffilli” (Forlì) with one-year experience at the Institut d’Études Politiques de Lyon.
