Project Summary

I am PhD researcher. I am interested in the immunological aspects of disseminated mycoses in immunocompromised patients such as the bone marrow (BMT), solid organ transplantation and hematopietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) recipients who have lacked their immune responses to fungal infections especially the disease which associated with Fusarium species as human pathogen. Recently, these fungus become one of the serious life threat pathogens in immunocompromised individuals. The majority of Fusarium species that were isolated from these patients were Fusariom solani species complex which are responsible for more than 60% of fusariosis.
